The delegation consisted of 13 lecturers and professional staff from the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, under the direction of the Faculty Leadership Board. Participants included program coordinators, heads of academic divisions, lecturers, and staff responsible for academic affairs and curriculum development.
As part of the program, the delegation held a working session with the management of Tan Cang – Central Corporation, toured the company’s operational facilities, and gained first-hand insights into its logistics organization and management practices. The visit also provided an opportunity for both parties to discuss potential areas of collaboration in education, scientific research, student internships, and employment opportunities for students enrolled in the Logistics and Supply Chain Management program.
In addition to the site visit, the delegation participated in a series of specialized training sessions delivered by the company’s experts. The sessions focused on port organization and operational models, modern port management and terminal operations, cargo handling and coordination, logistics supply chain management, and strategies for improving port operational efficiency in the context of digital transformation. These practical and industry-oriented topics enabled lecturers to update their professional knowledge and strengthen their capacity to support teaching, research, and curriculum development.
A key highlight of the program was the field visit to Quy Nhon Port, where participants observed port operations, cargo handling processes, warehouse management systems, and logistics infrastructure. These practical experiences provided a comprehensive understanding of the operations of a modern seaport, enabling the Faculty’s academic staff to gain deeper insights into current industry requirements and emerging trends in the logistics sector.
During the program’s closing session, representatives of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting and Tan Cang – Central Corporation highly appreciated the outcomes of the knowledge exchange activities and agreed to further strengthen cooperation in education, scientific research, professional seminars, student internships, and graduate recruitment.
