LHU advances internationalization through workshop “Powered by ASU – Global learning opportunities from LHU”

On May 13, 2026, LHU hosted a training workshop titled “Powered by ASU – Global Learning Opportunities from LHU”, aiming to introduce the international-standard training model while helping faculty members, staff, and admissions teams better understand LHU’s strategy for global education integration through its collaboration with Arizona State University (ASU), United States.

The workshop was attended by Associate Professor Nguyen Thanh Lam, Vice Rector of LHU, along with representatives from faculties, departments, and centers, as well as admissions staff and collaborators. The program also welcomed distinguished guests from Cintana Education, including Mr. Kevin Lowrence, Director of International Partnership Programs, and Ms. Jeannie Wong, Director of Admissions.

The workshop was held as LHU continues implementing the Powered by ASU (PBA) program after officially joining the Cintana Alliance in collaboration with ASU. The event aimed to update participants on global higher education trends while strengthening capacity in training delivery, admissions, and communications in alignment with LHU’s internationalization strategy.

During the program, representatives from Cintana Education provided an overview of ASU and highlighted the significance and value of the PBA program at LHU. Their presentations focused on emerging trends in modern education, essential competencies for global citizens, internationally oriented learning experiences, and the opportunities available to students in a globally connected academic environment.

The workshop also offered practical perspectives through sharing sessions from representatives of various faculties. These discussions covered the implementation journey of the program, learning experiences, and communication activities related to PBA at LHU. The event provided an opportunity for faculty members, staff, and admissions collaborators to gain a deeper understanding of the University’s core message and its international development strategy in the new phase.

Through this event, LHU reaffirmed its commitment to advancing educational internationalization, expanding a modern learning environment, and enhancing the student experience in line with global standards.
