With the objective of enabling students to gain practical exposure to experts in the field and update foundational knowledge in global supply chain operations management in the era of Industry 4.0, as well as to create opportunities for interaction with enterprises and experienced professionals who shared insights on career development and advancement in international business and international freight forwarding, Lac Hong University, the Faculty of Business Administration – International Economics, and the Economics (Foreign Trade) major organized a workshop entitled “Supply Chain Operations Management in the 4.0 Era” for students on the morning of 25 June 2022.
Attending the program were PhD Nguyen Van Trung – Director of the Center of Student Admissions and Public Relations; PhD Nguyen Van Tan – Head of FAIE; and MB Ta Thi Thanh Huong – Vice Head of FAIE. Accompanying the program were three guest speakers, all experts in supply chain management:

Tran Duy Khiem – Marketing Manager, TK Solution Company
Tran The Huy – Founder of Sai Gon Grocery Trading and Service Company
The workshop was conducted in a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere. The speakers shared and provided students with valuable and useful knowledge in the fields of logistics and supply chain operations management. In addition to learning theoretical knowledge from textbooks, this workshop enabled students to gain practical experience from experts and senior professionals in the industry.
Through the workshop, students acquired many valuable insights. At the same time, the program provided students with opportunities to better understand and apply the knowledge they have learned, as well as to demonstrate their public speaking skills by raising questions to the speakers. It is hoped that after the program, students will gain additional knowledge and essential experience to prepare for their careers after graduation.
