Economic Law Student Undertake Paid Internship.

After three years of studying at the university, students, upon graduation, are required to complete an internship lasting from 4 to 5 months at agencies and organizations. To achieve good results during the internship period, students must equip themselves with the necessary knowledge, skills, and working attitudes to meet the requirements of the receiving agencies and units.

The internship process is a challenging and demanding stage for students as they encounter real-world work for the first time. In addition, a common difficulty faced by most interns is unpaid internships, which is a matter of great concern for many students when choosing an internship environment. However, there are also students who, after a short period of interning at agencies or organizations, are compensated by the receiving units for the contributions they make.

The 2020 cohort of The Faculty of Administration International Economics entered their internship period in June 2023 in preparation for graduation. During this time, the Faculty received positive feedback from both agencies and students regarding internship conditions. In particular, the Faculty received feedback concerning student Nguyen Van Ry from class 20LU111, majoring in Economic Law. During his internship at the Bien Hoa Legal Consultancy Center, he received dedicated support from the staff. He shared: “During my internship, my supervisors guided me in drafting petitions for clients, took me to work directly with competent authorities, instructed me in client consultation, and helped me gain practical working experience...” At present, after nearly four months of internship, he has been able to work independently in several areas at the Center. In addition to receiving dedicated guidance, he has also received financial support during his internship, with a monthly allowance ranging from 3 million to 4 million VND, plus remuneration for each case assigned to him to handle jointly with his supervisor. After completing the internship period, he was officially offered a position at the Center. This is encouraging news for him as well as for the Faculty and the University.
