On May 17, 2026, the project “DotRead E-Braille” (an e-book device for the visually impaired) developed by the LHU Adley team won First Prize in the Education category at the 2nd APEC Innovation Student Startup Idea Competition (2025–2026) held in Hanoi.

At the competition, the DotRead E-Braille project impressed the judging panel thanks to its high practicality, strong humanitarian value, and meaningful contribution to the community.
The project aims to help visually impaired individuals access knowledge more easily through an appropriate technological solution. By doing so, it contributes to narrowing educational gaps and improving the quality of life for disadvantaged groups in society.
To achieve this success, the LHU student team went through a rigorous process of research, experimentation, adjustment, and product refinement across multiple stages. Their academic dedication, eagerness to learn, and ability to apply technology to solve real-world problems were key factors that helped the project gain strong recognition at the competition.
In addition to winning First Prize at the National APEC Innovation Competition, the LHU Adley project also received sponsorship to participate in a program in the United States. This valuable opportunity will allow LHU students to learn, exchange ideas, and connect with international experts, organizations, and innovation communities. The experience not only opens new pathways for the project’s development but also helps showcase the image of Vietnamese students as dynamic, creative, and ambitious in their pursuit of global engagement.
