“Bringing Love to the Highlands” – A Charity Program from the Hearts of Students and Lecturers of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Lac Hong University

In May 2025, the Social Work Club of the Faculty of Pharmacy – Lac Hong University, in collaboration with An Toan Cooperative, carried out a meaningful journey of sharing through the program “Mobilizing Donations of Medicine and Medical Supplies for the Bana Community in An Toan Commune, An Lao District, Binh Dinh Province.” Essential supplies were delivered directly into the hands of local villagers.

Throughout the month, the Social Work Club gathered generous contributions from students, alumni, lecturers of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Lac Hong University, as well as kind-hearted donors. More than 2,000 units of medicine and medical supplies were donated to the people of An Toan Commune, a place where access to healthcare and medicine remains limited.

From paracetamol, cooling fever patches, medicated oil, skin creams/gels, antiseptic solutions to bandages, gauze, masks, and more—these small but meaningful items brought joy to children and warmth to the entire village during the community festival “Smiles of the Highlands – Health for the Villages.”

The program is a vivid expression of the spirit of:

  • “Mutual support in times of need”
  • “The healthy leaf covers the torn one”

A spirit carried by students, lecturers of the Faculty of Pharmacy, donors, and An Toan Cooperative.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed, quietly wrapping love and care into each gift. The journey of “Sharing Medicine – Sending Love” may have ended, but the compassion it nurtured will last forever.

See you again on the next journey of kindness. Together, let’s continue writing this story of sharing!
